Adams Oshiomhole declared September 27 and 28 public holidays for Edo election

The Edo State Government declared September 27 and September 28 as public holidays to enable electorate participate in the Wednesday’s governorship election.
Gov. Adams Oshiomhole announced the reprieve at a grand reception held by the organised labour union for him.
Oshiomhole said the holidays would enable workers travel to their places of registration and participate in the voting exercise on Wednesday.
On the support given to him by labour, the governor expressed delight in the constructive criticisms offered by the union in the last eight years, adding that they helped in shaping his policies.
