She was accompanied by wife of the Vice-President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, former deputy governor of Plateau state, Pauline Tallen , Judith Amaechi wife of the former governor of River state, among others. She however took time to tour Awolowo’s residence.
The president’s wife, had earlier mourned the death of the HID Awolowo when she passed her condolences while paying a special visit to Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, a grand-daughter of the departed matriarch.
Meanwhile Hajia Buhari has vowed to publicly plead for the legislation against child marriage.
The Nigerian First Lady, who only recently expressed sadness over the mortality rate of pregnant women in the country, also maintained that every Nigerian girl will be enrolled in school with her campaign
