Usman claimed increased aerial bombardment of Boko Haram hideouts has weaken the activities of the insurgents. He attributed the success of the operations to the relentless of the troops and renewed vigour inspired by the leadership style of the Chief of Army Staff.
He explained further that many of the terrorists that willingly surrendered painted images of mass panic and hysteria among their erstwhile colleagues who are feeling the noose tightening on their necks.
”Terrorists also seem to have an inkling of what happens to surrendered suspects as regards screening and deredicalisation of innocent ones among them.’’ It states.
