Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna state governor, had earlier declared war on troublemakers disturbing the peace in the state, adding that any resident who commits murder or engages in any criminal act shall face the full wrath of the law.
Kaduna state police command spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP Zubairu Abubakar, told journalists that the terrorists were charged before the court for criminal activities.
According to Leadership, he said, “We arrested 120 suspected criminals with some acts of terrorism, armed robbery and rape.
Some suspected to be members of terrorist gang known as Sara-Suka.We arrested some of them on the spot while committing the crime, while others were arrested based on complaints from the public”
He warned criminals in the state to repent now before it will be late for them while warning that the security forces will continue to manhunt criminal elements in the state.
Meanwhile, El-Rufai reached an agreement with the protesters who marched against the recently introduced ban on street begging and hawking.
